Job Description
We are seeking a BI/Analytics Developer to drive Qualitrol's Business Intelligence strategy through advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools. This role is pivotal in transforming raw Salesforce, Oracle, and forecast data into consolidated, actionable dashboards — including a unified rollup view for regional sales directors — while leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Fabric, Power BI, and Power Automate.
Key Responsibilities
● Build the data foundation first: semantic models, KPI definitions, data source mapping, and presentation standards, agreed with business owners and approved by the Manager, Revenue Operations.
● Lead data strategy and AI-driven analytics by applying Copilot, Fabric, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools to deliver scalable insights.
● Champion AI adoption among sales and commercial peers and leadership, leading pilot projects that demonstrate productivity gains from AI-enabled tools — this is a change-management responsibility, not just tool usage.
● Design, develop, and optimize BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models that integrate Salesforce CRM data.
● Build and maintain consolidated regional-director dashboards spanning pipeline, forecast, and KPI data across all regions.
● Apply advanced analytics and AI to uncover trends, predictive insights, and opportunities for smarter decision-making.
● Establish governance standards for data quality, security, and best practices across enterprise BI platforms.
● Provide Power BI, analytics, and AI training and enablement to sales and commercial teams to drive self-service adoption.
● Support the Commercial Operations Digitization Portfolio, including the Pricing Analytics & PVM Tool and related initiatives.
● Manage BI tool subscriptions and licensing (e.g., Inforiver) as part of the reporting portfolio.
Additional Requirements
● Regular availability during agreed hours that overlap the US Eastern workday, for payout cycles, meetings, workshops and sales leadership reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
● 3+ years of experience in commercial data analytics, BI, or a related role.
● Proven expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, and Power Automate.
● Experience integrating Salesforce CRM data into BI solutions.
● Experience with order forecasting and plan modeling.
● Familiarity with large language models (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
Preferred Qualifications
● Proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis.
● Experience with Oracle ERP.
● BS/MS degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
● Direct or indirect experience supporting sales or commercial teams.
