Show job description

We are SMRS. A global brand, culture and communications business that believes opportunity should be open to all.

We open doors. For people, for ideas and for organisations ready to change for the better.

We think bigger to challenge assumptions and explore new ideas. We give a damn about the work we do and the impact it makes. And we add colour to every project with our personalities and our collective thinking.

We're also committed to creating a positive impact. From sustainability to social purpose, you'll be part of a company that values diversity, champions inclusion and supports the world we're helping to shape.

We're looking for a curious, organised and talented writer to join our Sales & Marketing team as a Bid & Proposal Executive.

Working closely with the Bid Manager and colleagues from across the business, you'll develop compelling proposals, tenders and sales materials that help SMRS win new work.

This role would suit someone who enjoys researching new topics, asking questions and turning complex information into clear, engaging content. You'll support proposal development from brief through to submission, while maintaining the case studies, credentials and knowledge assets that support our sales activity.

You'll also contribute to leadership content and help us make better use of AI, technology and automation to improve how we create, manage and share content.

This role plays an important part in how SMRS presents its expertise helping us create strong first impressions and communicate work effectively.

In return, you'll be joining a flexible, supportive and values-led business where you'll have the opportunity to learn, develop and work alongside talented people across the organisation. You'll benefit from hybrid working, 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, a positive and inclusive culture, and the opportunity to contribute to work with real purpose and impact.

Salary between £27,500 to £30,000
