BID Specialist

The Bid Specialist will assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process. As a Bid Specialist, you will be responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including the introduction and implementation of all bid procedures, governance, and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills. What you'll be doing Understand all aspects of each tender/offer allocated and focus on areas demanding particular attention Project managing the bid process within the deadlines Planning and coordination of the offer together with the sales teams and other involved contributors from relevant departments Supporting Account manager in reviewing the strategies and pricing through commercial verification including risk and margin assessment making sure that all services are included in the final price for the customer Contributing to the written proposal both in terms of content and presentation Performing quality checks of the proposals Obtaining management approval Analysis of the contractual T&Cs Taking part in the clarification sessions and final negotiation with the customer Coordinating handover to project implementation Provide ad-hoc and regular analysis and reporting What you'll bring along Degree educated A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in bid management, including for public sector opportunities Excellent English verbal and written skills Knowledge of the Romanian public acquisition regulation framework Good understanding of the IT market and trends Basic business understanding (revenue, cost, margin, invoicing etc.) Good planning and time management skills Ability to multi-task and share job responsibilities with other team members Excellent organizational and problem-management skills and a keen eye for detail Ability to work in a hybrid (physical/virtual) team Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines with a focus on quality Nice to have: Project management accreditation, German language verbal and written skills, knowledge of other European public acquisition regulations Document What’s in it for you ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
