Big Data/AWS Platform Administrator

Position: Big Data/AWS Platform Administrator Client: ZS Associates Location: Tampa, Fl. Remote for now but will be local when area opens!! So prefer people as local as possible Visa: No H1B (EAD’s OK). Interview details: phone or Skype NOTE – This is more of an Admin position, not development. NO need for heavy DevOps candidates. Big Data/ AWS Platform Admin: • Role: Onshore platform support for big data management platform that contains diverse set of technology. Role will include: o Managing tickets (Service Requests and Incidents) raised by the users o Monitoring health of the platform (microservices and infrastructure) o Interacting with end users and helping them solve any issues they might be facing related to platform o Running installation scripts o Communication: Communicate status and updates to clients • Skills: o Expertise in platform administration and ticket management o Technology: AWS (EC2, S3, Security Modules, Cloudwatch, etc.), Python, Unix o Good to have: Databricks, AirFlow, Cloudera o PERFECT COMMMUNICATION SKILLS!
