Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead to drive the delivery of AI and software development projects. This role combines technical leadership, software engineering, client engagement, and team management.

You will own technical decisions, lead project delivery, work directly with clients, mentor engineers, and remain actively involved in development.

Responsibilities



Technical Leadership

• Lead end-to-end project delivery.
• Own architecture and technical decisions.
• Develop scalable AI and software solutions.
• Provide visibility on timelines, risks, and progress.
• Remain hands-on with coding and implementation.
• Manage scope and proactively identify risks.
  
  

Team Leadership

• Mentor and support engineers.
• Allocate work effectively across the team.
• Promote engineering best practices.
• Drive accountability and delivery excellence.
  
  

Client Engagement

• Act as the primary technical contact.
• Communicate project status and technical direction.
• Translate business requirements into solutions.
• Support project profitability and successful delivery.
  
  

Requirements



Technical

• Strong full-stack engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML solutions.
• Expertise in at least one technical domain, ideally AI/ML.
• Experience designing and delivering production systems.
• Strong architectural and technical decision-making skills.
  
  

Leadership

• 3+ years of technical leadership experience, or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• Experience balancing engineering, project management, and stakeholder communication.
• Startup or consulting experience is a plus.
  
  

Professional Skills

• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify risks and manage trade-offs effectively.
