Job Description

Bilingual Customer Service Agent
Disability insurance, Remote

Join an exciting opportunity in the insurance sector for our client, where customer service excellence is at the heart of every interaction. In this role, you will contribute to delivering professional support, resolving customer concerns, and creating positive experiences within a collaborative and service-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and services by phone or email.
• Identify customer issues and provide solutions or appropriate follow-up.
• Resolve service or billing concerns, including refunds, exchanges, and bill adjustments.
• Communicate claim investigation updates and planned adjustments to customers.
• Escalate unresolved complaints to the appropriate internal departments.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and actions taken.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience while meeting productivity expectations.

What you will need to succeed:

Required qualifications

• Degree in any field.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 2-4 years of experience handling customer inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to accurately document and record customer information and interactions.
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook and data entry systems.
• Bilingual in French and English, as the role involves responding to customer inquiries by phone and email, communicating claim investigation updates, and handling customer concerns.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience handling billing adjustments, refunds, or service resolutions.
• Exposure to inbound and outbound call environments.
• Customer service experience in corporate, financial, insurance, or medical settings.
• Familiarity with issue escalation processes.
• Ability to manage high volumes of calls or inquiries while maintaining service quality.
