- Ensure the quality, completeness, integrity and availability of security data and logs used by the Security Operations Centre.
- Implement accountability and compliance capabilities by adding an additional control mechanism that enables traceability, reconciliation, retention and extraction of evidence, without duplicating the entire Security Operations Centre architecture.

- Ensure collaboration between the Security Operations Centre and teams responsible for application lifecycles, identity and access management / privileged access, cloud security, architecture, finance, compliance, internal audit and strategic vendors.
- Manage the team’s activities by optimizing human, financial and technological resources while setting priorities, performance indicators, service levels and the roadmap, and make decisions based on cybersecurity threats and intelligence.
- Clearly communicate strategy, risks, decisions and results to the team and senior management.
- Influence technology and lab teams, as well as executives at the director, vice president and deputy senior vice president levels.
- Lead the continuous improvement of security services to reduce risks across all of Intact’s operations in Canada and provide capabilities that are reliable, scalable and tailored to the needs of Security Operations Centre customers.
- Resolve complex and ambiguous issues related to the performance of the Security Operations Centre team, vendors, platforms and services.
- Ensure commitments to regulators, auditors and other external stakeholders are maintained.
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement in security processes, tools, methods and services.
- Develop reliable and high-performing services for the Security Operations Centre that meet the needs of users and partners.
- Lead initiatives that impact Intact across Canada, including the modernization of the Security Operations Centre, operations automation, AI and platform resilience.
- Build strong relationships with internal partners, vendors and stakeholders at the vice president and deputy senior vice president levels.
