SAP S/4HANA Consultant (SD / FICO / MM) | Fully Remote | Long-Term Contract

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Consultant for a long-term global implementation and application support project with a major global manufacturing company.

The project focuses on SAP implementation, ongoing support, continuous improvement, and transitioning to an internally managed SAP organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather business requirements and communicate directly with overseas stakeholders in English.

• Perform SAP configuration, troubleshooting, and application support (AMS), primarily in SAP SD.

• Support system design, testing, implementation, and global deployment.

• Improve business processes, reports, and SAP applications.

• Support SAP Fiori, SAC, and BTP-related initiatives as applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Business-level Japanese and English proficiency.

• Must currently reside in the Greater Tokyo / Kanto area.

• Hands-on SAP implementation, configuration, or support experience.

• SAP SD experience preferred; strong SAP FICO or MM experience is also welcome.

• Experience in requirements gathering, system design, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and communicate with global teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BTP.

• SAP team leadership or workshop facilitation experience.

• Business-level Chinese proficiency.

CONTRACT & WORK DETAILS

• Contract Type: Independent Contractor

• Work Arrangement: Fully Remote

• Location Requirement: Greater Tokyo / Kanto Area, Japan

• Start Date: Immediately or Next Month (Flexible)

• Contract Term: Initial 3 or 6 Months (Renewable)

• Project Duration: Long-Term (Potentially Several Years)

• Working Hours: 140–180 Hours / Month

• Monthly Compensation: JPY 950,000

• Annualized Compensation: JPY 11,400,000 (Based on 12 Months)

• Business Travel: Occasional visits to Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan
