Join our call center and a team of dedicated counsellors who are on the front line making a difference for our clients when they need it most. Our counsellors work in a positive and stimulating work environment, gaining valuable clinical experience. They give their best to our clients, knowing they are supported by a collaborative team, accessible supervisors, and an organization that values their well-being.


What You'll Do


As a counsellor, you will respond to client requests by phone, video call, or chat. You will assess client needs, direct them to the appropriate service, and provide immediate support to clients who are distressed or in crisis, when necessary.


How You Will Make an Impact:


  • You will be the first point of contact for clients and you will direct them to the appropriate service;
  • You will conduct a thorough assessment to determine the relevance of short-term counselling or referral to other internal services;
  • You will provide a single counselling session and/or perform crisis management as needed;
  • You will conduct a complete risk assessment to determine the need to implement a safety plan;
  • You will manage high-risk situations, including suicide risk, self-harm, child protection, and substance-related issues, and will work closely with at-risk individuals;
  • You will interact with our clients in an empathetic, ethical, and professional manner while protecting the confidentiality of their personal information;
  • You will maintain clear and concise clinical records using our internal platform.

What you bring:


  • You hold a Master's degree in mental health or a related field;
  • You are perfectly bilingual and fluent French and English, both verbally and in writing;
  • You are comfortable with technology (video calls, chat, emails, etc.);
  • You have experience with crisis management, risk assessment and risk management;
  • You can remain calm and in control, even in stressful or ambiguous situations;
  • You demonstrate sound clinical judgment and are able to quickly assess situations, identify an intervention goal, and support clients using a brief and strength-based approach;
  • You are empathetic, have good listening skills, and demonstrate excellent communication skills;
  • You can provide excellent customer service, manage client expectations, and respond effectively to their needs;
  • You are proactive, independent, resourceful and open to feedback;
  • You thrive in a high volume and a fast pace environment;
  • You are available to work o vernight, from Sunday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Saturday, from 11pm to 7:30am (Eastern time), including holidays.

Note to Québec candidates: Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.
