Bilingual Speech Project |English<> Korean (English speakers)

Job Summary We are currently seeking bilingual speakers (English & Korean) to participate in an audio data collection project . The objective is to record short, natural conversations to support the development of voice recognition technologies. This is a short-term, remote opportunity with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities Complete a 30-minute paid training session Participate in 8 short conversation recordings (~5 minutes each) Use an online recording tool (similar to Zoom; no camera required) Engage in natural, everyday conversations (e.g., shopping, travel, planning) During sessions: One speaker will communicate in English The other will communicate in Korean Requirements Native English speaker with good Korean understanding, or Native Korean speaker currently based in the US or UK Comfortable speaking naturally in conversational settings Access to a laptop and microphone No prior experience required A 1-minute audio sample is required for screening. Project Details Duration: ~3.5 hours total (including training) Schedule: Flexible Location: Remote Compensation USD 15 per hour (includes training and recording sessions) Application Requirements Availability Number of speakers (if applying as a group)
