We are currently looking for a Medical Billing Generalist to join our medical office team!
HYBRID REMOTE work schedule
after training.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8-5, no nights, weekends, or major holidays.
The Medical Billing Generalist Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage Billing Phone Queue (Inbound & Outbound), answer patient questions and resolve patient concerns
Manage correspondence between staff members and patients to provide solutions for billing questions, concerns, and/or needs
Review, research, and advise claims and payment history for patients
Independently comprehend, to provide explanation, status of accounts to include but not limited to balances, credits, and identifying inconsistencies
Review and ensure patients are informed on their outstanding debts and estimates of patient responsibility prior to appointments
Provide solutions to any relative problems of patients
Collaborate with team members in assisting with payment plans for patients
Requirements:
Proven experience as Billing Specialist
Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
Results-driven and patient
High degree of attention to detail
Professional phone and interpersonal skills
