BIM & Digital Delivery Coordinator

BIM Delivery, Model Coordination, Validation, Asset Information & Digital Handover

Role Overview

We are looking for a Digital Delivery Coordinator with strong Revit and model coordination experience to support the delivery of model-based information, asset data and digital handover requirements across design and construction projects.

The role sits within Digital Practice / Digital Advisory and requires someone with a practical understanding of how design models are created, coordinated and used to deliver structured project information.

The successful candidate will support project setup, model coordination, information validation and digital handover workflows. This includes working directly with Revit models and schedules, checking structured asset data, supporting design teams, maintaining delivery trackers and monitoring progress through platforms such as Glider.

This is a hands-on technical delivery role, combining model coordination and information management. It is not a traditional document control or CDE administration position.

The role will support the growth of our Digital Advisory services, helping ensure information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project information documents, including information requirements, responsibility matrices, asset data fields, responsible parties and client-specific deliverables.
  • Help translate client information requirements into clear, practical actions for designers, consultants and contractors.
  • Support the checking of model data, Revit schedules, asset registers and COBie-style outputs for completeness and consistency.
  • Support designers and project teams in understanding asset data, digital handover and information delivery requirements.
  • Monitor asset information progress using platforms such as Glider or similar digital handover systems.
  • Support CDE workflows, including information exchange, naming conventions, status codes, review processes and issue tracking.
  • Chase outstanding information, track actions and escalate risks or blockers where required.
  • Produce clear progress reports covering information status, missing data, overdue actions and key risks.
  • Support model coordination workflows where required, including federated model review, issue tracking and coordination reporting.
  • Support the development of repeatable templates, trackers and workflows for asset information, information delivery and digital handover.

Essential Experience

  • Proven hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit and model coordination tools within architecture, engineering, construction or consultancy.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models, including federated model reviews, clash detection, issue tracking and resolution workflows.
  • Strong understanding of model-based information, including Revit schedules, shared parameters, structured asset data and model quality checks.
  • Practical understanding of ISO 19650 principles, BIM Execution Plans, information requirements and CDE workflows.
  • Understanding of COBie principles, asset registers, classification systems and digital handover requirements.
  • Experience checking and validating model information and structured data for completeness, consistency and compliance with project requirements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to support designers, consultants and contractors, track actions and escalate issues.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects, balancing technical coordination, information delivery and reporting responsibilities.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Glider, Zutec, Ecodomus, AssetWise or similar asset information and digital handover platforms.
  • Experience configuring asset data fields, information requirements, dashboards and reporting workflows.
  • Knowledge of Uniclass 2015 and structured parameter strategies.
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel-based data validation or Dynamo.
  • Experience working on workplace, commercial fit-out, healthcare, stadium or client-side information management commissions.

Key Attributes

  • Organised, methodical and detail-focused.
  • Comfortable supporting designers and project teams with information and data requirements.
  • Able to chase actions professionally and consistently.
  • Practical problem solver.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Confident working under direction while taking ownership of day-to-day delivery tasks.
  • Able to identify risks, gaps and blockers and escalate them clearly.

Reporting Line

The role reports to the Digital Practice / Digital Advisory Services Lead, who retains responsibility for practice area strategy, client positioning, methodology, client relationships and service development.
