Role description:
Role accountabilities:
- Provide technical BIM leadership, guidance, and expert support to project teams, resolving complex modelling and BIM-related issues.
- Lead the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of BIM processes, workflows, standards, and best practices across projects and disciplines.
- Coach, mentor, and train BIM staff through structured learning programs and day-to-day technical support.
- Develop, review, maintain, and enforce BIM standards, execution plans, quality control procedures, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to establish project BIM requirements, standards, and deliverables.
- Oversee model quality, clash detection, compliance reporting, and constructability reviews to ensure adherence to project and company standards.
- Manage BIM technologies, including software administration, template and family creation, automation initiatives, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with regional and global BIM leaders to align practices with industry standards, identify innovation opportunities, and promote technical excellence within the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, with extensive BIM project experience.
- Strong experience leading BIM teams and delivering BIM solutions for large, multidisciplinary projects.
- Proficiency in BIM standards and best practices, including ISO 19650, RIBA, and AIA frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop BIM Execution Plans and manage project delivery within budget and schedule requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
