BIM Structural Modeler - Bridges Exp Only

Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for a BIM Structural Modeler with exclusive experience in bridge projects, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with some work-from-home flexibility. The BIM Structural Modeler will create, develop, and maintain detailed 3D structural models for bridge structures, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project specifications and standards. Daily tasks include interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams, and updating models to reflect design changes and site conditions. The role involves preparing model-based documentation, clash detection reports, and assisting in quantity take-offs and project coordination meetings. The BIM Structural Modeler will also support continuous improvement of BIM workflows, adhere to company quality and safety standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality bridge infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows specific to structural bridge projects.
• Ability to interpret and develop detailed Construction Drawings and model-based documentation for bridges.
• Experience collaborating with Architecture and structural design teams to translate design intent into accurate models.
• Familiarity with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience as a Structural Modeler, particularly on bridge and heavy civil engineering projects.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, or equivalent bridge modeling tools).
• Knowledge of relevant international and regional bridge design codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a multi-project environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup with multidisciplinary teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline; specialized training in BIM is an advantage.
• Previous Middle East infrastructure or bridge project experience is preferred.
