Job Description

You will oversee manufacturing operations within a cutting-edge biopharmaceutical environment. You will ensure upstream production runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards while fostering continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of upstream biomanufacturing operations aligned with quality, safety, and production targets
• Lead and empower team leaders and technicians while promoting collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement
• Monitor production performance, analyze operational results, and implement corrective actions whenever necessary
• Oversee equipment readiness with technical teams, including continuous maintenance, qualification, and calibration
• Manage upstream deviations, investigations, and corrective actions to guarantee strict regulatory compliance and audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, or a related biopharmaceutical field
• Proven experience with 10+ years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, focusing on upstream processes
• Strong track record of leading production teams, including executive-level staff, within a highly regulated environment
• Deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, industrial production processes, and upstream technologies
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to thrive in a dynamic setting
• Full professional fluency in both English and French
