Biometric Examiner- (Fingerprint, Face, Iris)

AVER is seeking a Biometric Examiner (Tenprint, Latent, Multimodal) to support time-sensitive biometric identity operations. The Biometric Examiner analyzes, compares, and evaluates biometric images and samples to render identity determinations across one or more qualified modalities, including fingerprint, face, and iris. This position also supports the identification and resolution of biometric identity issues, evaluation of identity data maintained within large biometric repositories, and preparation of reports documenting biometric identity decisions. Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze, compare, and evaluate biometric images and samples to support accurate identity determinations
• Perform biometric examinations within the modality or modalities for which the examiner is qualified, including fingerprint, face, and/or iris
• Render identity determinations in a time-sensitive operational environment
• Identify, research, and resolve biometric identity issues and discrepancies
• Support work involving a single biometric modality or multiple modalities based on individual qualifications and experience
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, proficiency, and accuracy

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience. Higher education in a related field is also acceptable

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working as a biometric examiner in either Fingerprint, Face and/or Iris modalities
• For multi-modality status, a minimum of six months of examination experience within each additional modality
• Demonstrated experience comparing and analyzing biometric images or samples and rendering identity determinations
• Experience querying national database AFIS, or similar to conduct comparison and identification of biometric images and artifacts
• Proficiency in fingerprint or multimodal comparison, Latent, Ten print, Face or Iris preferred
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Internet Browser (Google, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer

Security Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Full Public Trust suitability required)
• This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
