Job Description Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – In-Person – Red Lake, MN Get Paid for the Work You Actually Do. Deliver Meaningful Outcomes. Stay Supported. Position Details Location: In-person (school-based setting) Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules) Employment Type: 1099 (Independent Contractor), with W2 options available This is an in-person, school-based BCBA role , supporting students across K–12 school settings. You’ll work directly with students, school teams, and families, supported by clear workflows, structured onboarding, and dedicated internal support. About HelloHero HelloHero delivers related and behavioral health services to students nationwide. Since 2017, we’ve supported over 15,000 students through school districts in 28 states. We focus on fair compensation and exceptional support through our Service Managers. 75% of our clinicians have been with us for over 3 years, reflecting the consistency and support we provide. Our mission is to ensure students receive the services they need to succeed—while creating a more sustainable, supported environment for the clinicians who make that possible. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Provide direct and consultative behavior analysis services Train and support school staff on behavior strategies and implementation Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Complete documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration Communicate with school staff, families, and stakeholders Scheduling Services are delivered during standard school hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) Scheduling is aligned with student and school availability Structured caseloads and scheduling support Requirements Requirements Active BCBA certification Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings (1 year minimum experience preferred) Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication Reliable transportation for in-person service delivery Benefits Compensation & Pay Structure Rate: $8,000-$9,000 per month Flexible employment options, including 1099 or W2, based on your preference Paid training ($20/hour), including HR onboarding, platform training, and school-specific training Why Our Roles Are Different Clear expectations – Defined workflows and documentation standards Real support – Dedicated Service Manager who advocates for YOU with schools and supports you day-to-day, along with structured onboarding and consistent, responsive communication Access to tools and resources – Supporting assessments, behavior plans, and reporting so you’re not sourcing materials on your own Peer support – Access to internal, discipline-specific chat channels for real-time collaboration, questions, and shared resources Fair compensation – Designed to reflect the full scope of your work, not just time in session Flexibility – Independent contractor structure with consistent school-based placement Efficient scheduling support – Coordinated caseloads and collaboration with school teams Opportunities for growth – Ability to build experience across school settings and expand your impact over time Licensure support – Support for cross-licensing in additional states as opportunities arise Apply Today Join a team where clinicians are supported, compensated fairly, and able to focus on student outcomes.
