Overview

We are recruiting a Book Editor for AI projects. You will edit long-form manuscripts for coherence, chapter structure, voice, continuity, and reader clarity while tracking issues across the complete book.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form manuscripts for coherence and reader clarity.

- Review chapter order, pacing, voice, and narrative continuity.

- Track names, facts, themes, and cross-references across the book.

- Explain substantive chapter-level recommendations to the writer.

- Confirm that revisions remain consistent across the manuscript.

Requirements

- Professional-level English proficiency, both written and verbal.

- Ability to edit long-form manuscripts for coherence and reader clarity.

- Ability to track voice, structure, continuity, and detail across chapters.

- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home-working setup.

- Previous book editing, manuscript editing, or publishing experience is preferred.
