Our primary objective is to provide staffing solutions to these businesses, filling various roles such as dishwashers, cooks, chefs, servers, bartenders, cashiers, runners, shippers/receivers, administrative staff, and any other job positions as per the client's requirements. Job Description Role & responsibilities : Manage company accounting records using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of all transactions. Prepare and file HST returns accurately and within required deadlines. Process payroll and remit Canadian payroll deductions, including CPP, EI, and income tax, in compliance with regulations. Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws and reporting requirements. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions. Assist with year-end closing, tax preparation, and audit requirements. Preferred candidate profile : Must have 3 years of relevant experience in Canadian bookkeeping or accounting, preferably supporting small to mid-sized businesses. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, including account reconciliation and financial reporting. Experience preparing and filing HST returns and handling Canadian tax compliance requirements. Familiarity with Canadian payroll processing, including CPP, EI, and income tax deductions and remittances (preferred) Understanding of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations. High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle confidential financial information responsibly. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
