Job Description

Essential Job Functions-Description:

• Drives strategic initiatives, sales strategy, leadership/management of production in branch, in alignment with corporate goals
• Oversees production goals based on recruiting activities and development of Loan Officers
• Identifies market opportunities and hires/develops Loan Officers
• Identify new business opportunities for their existing Loan Officers in order to meet branch goals
• Develops and executes overall market strategy to increase retail volume, market share, and profitability
• Collaborates with operations support to ensure customer service, loan quality and pull through targets are achieved and/or exceeded
• Communicates and implements company policy and procedures
• Provides regular performance reviews for all Loan Officers
• Provides regular reporting to Branch Manager on production performance within the assigned market
• Produces personal loan volume at or above goal expectations
• Maintains active recruiting database
• Promotes Fairway Brand in assigned geography; supports efforts that enhance the Brand
• Manages daily sales of Loan Officers including adherence to key metrics, time blocks, scheduling, sales and technical skills
• Provides ongoing coaching to Loan Officers to drive efficiency and increased sales production
• Works with Loan Officers and Processing Department on loan issues
• Recruits, training and developing of Loan Officers

Required Experience

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated experience researching information, problem solving and making solid business decisions.
• Demonstrated experience critically thinking, researching and interpreting information, problem solving and making solid business decisions.
• Demonstrated experience leading by example to foster relationships within the company and department.
• Demonstrated experience effectively managing relationships with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with MS Office products.

• Demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of management
• Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication, multi-tasking, and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of a variety of loan programs including Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA and secondary marketing guidelines to manage complex loan level issues.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of current business acumen.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of mortgage servicing best practices.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of organizing people, tasks, and activities to yield efficient work flow.

Minimum Education Preferred

• High School or GED

Physical Environment

• This is a hybrid position that offers remote flexibility and will also require some in office time. Access to a quiet space at home and reliable internet is required.

Travel
Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%)may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs and/or events.
