The Brand & Creative Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Marketing & Communications Department. This position will support internal and external communications and a variety of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Communications support.
• Coordinate promotional items, Access wear, and print materials in the digital store; source and recommend new items with branch input and work with external vendor on implementation.

• Coordinate logo requests and sponsorship materials such as branded sports team jerseys, contracted signage in the communities; organize contracts.

• Monitor promotional budget.

• Coordinate collateral deployment in-branch; branch contact for branded printed materials.

• Develop working relationships with outside vendors: printing, signage, promotional.

• Coordinate community advertising and sponsorship ads.

• Flight manager for external collateral.

• Assist with media purchases including negotiating advertising agreements, providing cost analysis comparisons, and recommendations for growth opportunities in support of organizational objectives.

• Track invoices on budget tracker.

• Look for opportunities and proactively remain current in knowledge of all credit union products and services; look for ways to elevate members understanding through marketing and communications programs.

• Attend credit union sponsored events, including evening and weekends, as a representative and volunteer of the credit union.

• Actively participate in meetings, planning and training initiatives, sharing information and ideas to build organizational achievement and success.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to credit union policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention.

• Maintain familiarity with the credit union’s history, vision statement, objectives and its role within the community. 

• Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures .

Essential Qualifications

• Post-secondary education and/or practical experience in marketing, graphic design, creative communications

• Financial Services experience is beneficial

• Knowledge of Financial Services products and services

• Moderate understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and perform well under pressure

• Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions

• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy

$51,139.00

Salary Band

$51,139.00 - $62,594.00

In most situations, candidates will be offered the starting salary for the position. In exceptional circumstances, and at the organization’s discretion, an offer may be made above the stated minimum based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity and external compensation factors. When underfilling a position, the salary offered may be in a lower salary band.
