Your Role

As a Brand & Marketing Specialist, you will:

• Take ownership of the Shopify store's backend setup, including theme configuration, store architecture, navigation, collections and page structure.
• Manage product setup end-to-end, including variants, options, metafields, tagging and templates, ensuring accurate and scalable product data.
• Design and maintain store layout, navigation, filtering and site architecture to support usability, merchandising and SEO.
• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Shopify apps and integrations, including compatibility and conflict testing.
• Work with Shopify themes and Liquid to implement and maintain technical changes without compromising site functionality.
• Monitor and maintain the technical health of the Shopify store, including page speed, mobile performance, errors, redirects and broken links.
• Ensure Shopify store configurations meet relevant platform requirements and policies, including checkout, payments, accessibility and legal/policy requirements.
• Own on-page and technical SEO, including metadata, internal linking, URL structures and site architecture.
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO insights to product, collection and site structures.
• Monitor organic performance, rankings, traffic and conversions using GA4, Google Search Console and relevant SEO tools.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues and recommend improvements to increase organic visibility.
• Provide SEO guidance for new products, collections, content and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the ecommerce team to ensure new content and product listings follow SEO best practices.
• Conduct technical audits and support Shopify store migrations, structural improvements and compliance reviews when required.
• Create and present weekly and monthly performance reports covering activities undertaken, progress, outstanding items and relevant performance metrics.
• Document technical changes, SEO initiatives and ongoing improvements.
• Take ownership of technical projects and outcomes from implementation through completion.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Shopify experience at a technical/backend level, including theme setup, store architecture and product data structuring — not just day-to-day Shopify administration.
• Strong understanding of Shopify platform requirements and policies, including checkout, payments, accessibility and legal/policy configurations.
• Strong understanding of technical, on-page and structural SEO fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console and standard SEO tools.
• Comfortable working with Shopify Liquid, configuring themes and managing Shopify apps and integrations.
• Excellent written English and grammar.
• Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when managing product data, site structure and technical configurations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify and resolve technical issues.
• Self-directed and comfortable owning technical outcomes end-to-end while collaborating with remote teams.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to create and present weekly and monthly performance reports showing the status and results of activities undertaken.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise/experience

• Formal Shopify development or Shopify Partner experience.
• Experience auditing or migrating Shopify stores for technical, structural or compliance issues.
• Experience working with fashion, accessories, lifestyle or luxury ecommerce brands.
• Familiarity with Shopify app ecosystems, including reviews, subscriptions and email/SMS platforms.
• Technical setup experience with Klaviyo or similar ecommerce marketing platforms.
• Experience with advanced technical SEO, ecommerce SEO or site migrations.
• Experience with ecommerce analytics, conversion optimisation or website performance monitoring.
