About Phorest
Phorest started in 2002 on a busy salon reception desk as a simple text-reminder tool.
Today, we're a SaaS company and a trusted partner to over 155,000 hair, beauty and medspa professionals worldwide. Our all-in-one software and AI-driven tools help them manage bookings, take payments, market their services, grow their client base and get the best from their teams.
Everything we build helps the salon and medspa industry thrive.
We're also a Certified B Corp, and 25% of the company is owned by Phoresters. When the company grows, everyone has a stake in that.
The Opportunity
As the Brand Operations Manager, you’ll turn creative output into an organisational capability, making it effortless for teams across Phorest globally to find, use, and get the most from our brand assets. Sitting within the Brand & Communications team, you will own the end-to-end strategy, structure, and ongoing development of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform (Brand Bank) and Notion Brand Hub. By bridging the gap between creative teams and global stakeholders, you will govern asset compliance, enable self-service workflows, streamline creative pipelines, and leverage usage data and AI enablement to guide future asset development.
What You'll Do
Brand Bank Strategy & DAM Ownership: Own and scale our global DAM system (Brand Bank), establishing intuitive folder structures, taxonomy, tagging, search functionality, and access permissions so assets are easily discoverable, version-controlled, and globally deployable.
Notion Brand Hub & Self-Serve Enablement: Maintain a central, accessible Notion Brand Hub featuring current guidelines, campaign launch kits, and reusable templates to reduce unnecessary creative requests and empower teams to work independently and consistently.
Governance, Standards & Rights Management: Define clear standards for file naming, version control, review cycles, and archiving. Put practical processes in place to support brand consistency, usage compliance, and rights management across all global markets.
Creative Workflow & Delivery Management: Lead the operational coordination of core brand building blocks (e.g., global photography banks, presentation decks, product visuals) from briefing through to delivery, eliminating bottlenecks and strengthening accountability against agreed service levels.
Stakeholder Alignment & Feedback Loops: Build close partnerships across Creative, Marketing, Product, and regional teams. Establish regular feedback loops to identify common requests, missing resources, and barriers to self-service.
Reporting & Data Insights: Track and report on asset usage, adoption, and resource gaps using platforms like Looker, delivering actionable insights to guide future creative production and resource allocation.
AI Enablement & Continuous Improvement: Identify, test, and embed practical AI applications into creative operations to improve discoverability, reduce repetitive tasks, and drive continuous workflow enhancements with proper quality and brand safeguards.
Who You Are
5+ years of experience in Brand Operations, Creative Operations, or Digital Asset Management with a proven track record of leading complex, global operational initiatives.
DAM & Tooling Mastery: Deep expertise implementing and managing DAM systems (metadata, taxonomy, access control) and strong fluency with tools like Notion, Looker, and modern project management software.
Creative Operations Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end creative production lifecycle—from brief intake and resource planning through execution, version control, and asset archiving.
Operational Discipline & Process Design: Skilled at building clear, scalable processes, establishing service levels, and maintaining operational rigor that works in practice.
Data-Informed & Strategic Thinking: Ability to combine asset usage data with stakeholder feedback to solve problems, connect operational decisions to business priorities, and guide creative strategy.
Enablement & Service Mindset: High empathy and collaboration skills; dedicated to understanding team pain points and building intuitive resources that make colleagues' daily work easier.
Innovation & AI Curiosity: Curious about emerging AI tools and eager to experiment with practical applications to improve creative workflows and self-service capabilities.

So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
