Is this job info correct?

Your role in one sentence You'll build and own your own book of relationships across CPG brands and the agencies that work with them, from the first cold conversation through to the signed deal. Who you are You want the whole thing, not a piece of it. Sourcing, building, closing. You have had enough of handing off your best conversations to someone else at the good part. You do the homework before the meeting. You would rather spend two hours understanding how a company is organized than wing a first call and hope for chemistry. The research is not a chore to you. It is where you find the way in. You are curious about how companies actually work. Org charts, earnings calls, press releases, who just moved into a new role, which agency holds the business. A single CPG parent company usually contains a dozen different budgets and problems, and you find that interesting rather than overwhelming. You are genuinely social. You like people. You remember what they told you. You follow up because you want to, not because a sequence told you to. You are honest about what you do not know yet. You would rather say “I have never negotiated a deal this size, walk me through it” than improvise your way through and lose the account. You are competitive with yourself. The number matters. So does being noticeably better at this in six months than you are today. Why this role exists Ripple Street is built on something brands cannot manufacture: real people, using real products, telling real people about it. The brands that understand it, and the agencies that bring us to them, have been with us for years, and our next chapter depends on more of those relationships, built from scratch. That is this role. You get your own account list and full ownership of it: finding the way in, building the relationship, designing the program with a Solutions Architect alongside you, and closing it yourself. Not sourcing for someone else to close. Not closing what someone else sourced. The way we sell is specific, and it is worth knowing before you apply. The research comes first, and it is yours to do. Then the team shows up and runs the plan together. We built the role with a growth arc on purpose. You will start with an account list sized to where you are today, and real support around you. As your track record builds, so does your book. This is the path to running a portfolio of your own at the Director level, and people on this team have walked it. What you'll actually do Do the research that makes the difference Map a parent company before you pick a target inside it, so you see all the doors rather than the first one Choose which buying group to pursue based on real winnability, and be able to say why not the others Learn how that group decides: who owns the budget, who influences it, who can stall it, which agency is in the room, and what they are actually being measured on Build and own your book Source, develop, and close relationships in your own account list, full cycle Work agencies as well as brands. On many accounts the AOR writes the brief and shapes who gets considered, and building there is often the faster way in Build more than one relationship inside every account, because in CPG the person who loves you is rarely the person who funds you Prioritize by real opportunity, not by which conversation is easiest to have Run with the team Bring the Solutions Architect into meetings for solution design, and learn how they think while you do Carry accounts through a first program and into what comes next, so you understand expansion from the inside Build toward a portfolio of your own Log and track your work honestly. Our pipeline is only as good as what is in it. Add what you are learning to the playbook the team runs on Flag what you are still figuring out as openly as what you have already got. That clarity is what earns you a bigger book faster. What you'll need to do this job well Three to six years in CPG, brand-side marketing, agency, or sales, with at least one relationship you carried through to a real outcome. Comfort being accountable for the result. Full cycle means the win is yours. So is the miss. Strong research instincts. You can find the right person at a company or an agency you have never sold into, and explain why they are the right person. Discipline about tracking. HubSpot experience is a plus. Clear writing. Most first impressions here happen in an email before they happen in a room. Logistics • Location: 500 7th Ave, NYC (Garment District). In-office Mondays–Thursdays, Remote Fridays. Anticipate 10-20% travel. • Reports to: Stephanie McHale , SVP, Partnerships & Solutions
