About SuperOrdinary

SuperOrdinary is a global social commerce and brand growth partner helping some of the world's most exciting beauty, skincare, wellness, and lifestyle brands connect with consumers and scale across today's leading commerce platforms.

We operate at the intersection of brand strategy, e-commerce, creator commerce, and digital innovation, partnering with brands to unlock growth across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and emerging marketplaces.

Our team combines deep marketplace expertise, data-driven strategy, creative thinking, and hands-on execution to help brands navigate an ever-evolving digital commerce landscape.

We're a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organization where collaboration, ownership, and curiosity are valued. As we continue to grow, we're looking for people who are excited to build, challenge the status quo, and make a measurable impact.

About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded, data-driven Brand Strategist to join our growing team at SuperOrdinary.

In this role, you'll own the strategy, performance, and growth of a portfolio of approximately 8–12 beauty, skincare, and consumer brand partners, with a primary focus on Amazon and opportunities to expand across Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces.

You'll serve as a trusted strategic partner to your brands, helping them identify opportunities, solve business challenges, and drive sustainable revenue growth. From marketplace performance and advertising strategy to inventory planning and new channel expansion, you'll connect the dots across the business and translate insights into meaningful action.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. You'll work closely with our advertising, creative, and operations teams to ensure we're delivering results and building long-term brand partnerships.

What You'll Do

Brand Strategy & Marketplace Growth

  • Own the overall Amazon marketplace strategy and business performance for a portfolio of 8–12 brand partners.

  • Develop annual growth plans, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and actionable strategies aligned with each brand's revenue and profitability goals.

  • Identify opportunities to drive incremental growth through product assortment, pricing, promotions, bundling, and marketplace expansion.

  • Analyze sales trends, advertising performance, conversion rates, and inventory health to identify opportunities and proactively address business challenges.

  • Partner with internal teams to support expansion into Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, Temu, and international marketplaces.

Brand Partnerships & Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for assigned brand partners, building strong relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and results.

  • Lead weekly business reviews, client meetings, performance presentations, and strategic planning discussions.

  • Translate complex marketplace data into clear recommendations that help brand partners make informed business decisions.

  • Proactively manage client expectations, navigate challenges, and identify solutions that support long-term retention and growth.

  • Balance multiple high-priority accounts while maintaining a high standard of communication, organization, and service.

Cross-Functional Execution & Performance

  • Collaborate closely with advertising, creative, operations, and marketplace teams to ensure brand strategies are executed effectively.

  • Partner with advertising teams on campaign performance, budget allocation, retail media strategy, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Work with operations on inventory forecasting, replenishment planning, product availability, and sell-through strategies.

  • Monitor key performance indicators including GMV, revenue, profitability, advertising efficiency, conversion, and inventory performance.

  • Identify operational gaps and opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and overall account performance.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends across Amazon, retail media, social commerce, and omnichannel marketplaces.

  • Identify opportunities to introduce new strategies, services, and growth initiatives to existing brand partners.

  • Help develop scalable workflows, reporting frameworks, and best practices that strengthen our growing Brand Strategy team.

  • Bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset to a fast-paced, evolving business.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, Amazon marketplace management, brand strategy, or client-facing account management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts, with a strong understanding of marketplace operations and growth strategy.

  • Experience owning brand performance, managing client relationships, and developing strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.

  • Strong understanding of Amazon's ecosystem, including advertising, product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory, and marketplace analytics.

  • Ability to interpret data, identify business trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence leading client meetings and delivering strategic business reviews.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with advertising, creative, operations, and other business teams.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounts and competing priorities.

  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and thrive in a fast-growing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting beauty, skincare, wellness, lifestyle, or CPG brands.

  • Familiarity with Walmart Marketplace, Target Plus, TikTok Shop, or other emerging commerce platforms.

  • Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Amazon DSP, or advanced retail media strategies.

  • Exposure to international marketplace expansion, particularly Canada or the UK.

  • Experience managing aged inventory, sell-through initiatives, and marketplace profitability.

  • Background in an agency, marketplace accelerator, or multi-brand e-commerce environment.

What We Offer

  • Career Growth: Join a rapidly expanding global commerce business with opportunities to grow your career, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact.

  • Competitive Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus.

  • Time Off & Flexibility: Flexible PTO, paid holidays, and paid sick leave to support work-life balance.

  • Retirement Benefits: 401(k) retirement savings program.

  • Comprehensive Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule: Collaborate with our team onsite four days per week at our West Hollywood office in the Pacific Design Center, with one remote workday.

  • Office Perks: Enjoy team catering, opportunities to connect with colleagues, and an energetic, collaborative office environment.
