Welcome to Manhattan. Every day, our supply chain commerce technology connects two billion people to 20 billion consumer choices. In the warehouse, on the road and in the store, we make what was once impossible, possible. If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you’ve come to the right place.
The Opportunity:
Manhattan Associates is building a more visible, more distinctive, and more dominant brand. As our brand and digital teams scales across creative, content, and communications, we are looking for a Brand & Web Operations Manager to build the operating system that lets great work move quickly, predictably, and at scale.
This is a builder role for an operator who can move fluently between process design and the last mile of delivery. You will create how work comes in, how it gets scoped and resourced, and how it gets out the door. That covers everything from day-to-day requests across the company to our flagship Momentum and Exchange events. You will keep the trains running on time, balance budget against throughput, and use AI to raise both the speed and the quality of what the teambrand and digital team produces.
You will be equally comfortable standing up an intake process, pushing back on an underbaked brief, rebalancing a team that is overloaded, negotiating with a vendor, or compiling the numbers leadership needs to see. The work should be organized, measurable, and unmistakably Manhattan.
Day in the Life:
Intake and prioritization
- Build and own a flexible intake process that lets teams across the company request creative, website, and content work
- Make sure every request is properly briefed and scoped before work begins, and push back when it isn't
- Own day-to-day prioritization decisions, escalating to the VP of Brand Marketing when trade-offs need a leadership call
- Establish and maintain SLAs by work type, and hold the team and requesters to them
Project management and resourcing
- Build project plans for larger initiatives and keep work moving on schedule
- Allocate and load-balance work across internal creative staff, contractors, and agencies
- Balance budget against throughput when deciding where work should go
- Continuously improve processes and drive adherence across daily work and major initiatives
Events
- Manage the brand team's contributions to Momentum and Exchange, including experience, design, presentations, and run of show
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and vendors for those workstreams in partnership with event owners
Vendor and agency management
- Source, onboard, and manage freelancers, agencies, and production vendors
- Manage SOWs, rates, and timelines, and evaluate vendor quality and value over time
Digital asset management
- Own and administer Bynder, keeping it organized, current, and useful to the entire company
- Maintain taxonomy, metadata, and version control so assets are easy to find and use
- Manage usage rights, licensing, and expiration dates to protect the company from risk
- Administer access and permissions, and train teams on how to use the DAM
AI and Throughput
- Put generative AI to work across brand and digital workflows to increase both throughput and quality
- Identify where AI can remove bottlenecks, build repeatable AI-assisted processes, and help the team adopt them
Digital Marketing partnership
- Support the Digital Marketing team as a close partner, including workflows they run in the Optimizely CMP
- Accept Requests, convert to campaigns and individual tasks, setting dates and deliverables assigned to team members.
- Monitor the progress of tickets ensuring all work is completed on time and within scope. Close out tickets when needed.
Reporting and budget
- Compile regular reporting across brand and digital for the VP of Brand Marketing and executive leadership, including production throughput and SLA performance, web traffic trends (especially for content), and asset performance
- Manage and track spend against budget, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and forecasts
What Success Looks Like:
In your first 6 months
- A company-wide intake process is live, and requests arrive briefed and scoped
- SLAs are defined by work type and tracked
- Workload across the team is visible, balanced, and planned ahead
- Bynder is audited and reorganized, with clear taxonomy and governance
- Regular reporting reaches leadership on a predictable cadence
In your first 12 months
- SLA adherence is consistently high, and turnaround times are measurably shorter
- Throughput has increased without adding proportional headcount or spend
- AI-assisted workflows are embedded in day-to-day production
- Spend is tracked accurately, with no surprises at month, quarter, or year end
- Brand workstreams for Momentum and Exchange run on plan
- Teams across the company find and use approved assets in Bynder without needing help
What We need from You:
- 5–8 years of experience in creative operations, marketing operations, or agency production and traffic, ideally in B2B technology or SaaS
- A track record of building intake, workflow, and SLA systems from scratch and getting people to actually use them
- Deep, hands-on fluency with generative AI tools, and a habit of finding new ways to apply them to real production work
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies, and vendors, including SOWs and rate negotiation
- Experience administering a DAM, with a working grasp of taxonomy, metadata, and usage rights
- Comfort tracking budgets and compiling reporting for senior leadership
- Experience supporting large-scale events or complex, multi-team initiatives
- The confidence to say no, or not yet, to stakeholders at any level while keeping those relationships strong
- Clear, concise communication and a bias for simplicity over process for its own sake
