Job Description

We're growing our Operations team and looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Freight Account Operations Specialist to support high-volume transportation accounts and help ensure seamless freight execution from pickup to delivery.

This role serves as an extension of our Freight Brokers, providing day-to-day operational support, shipment visibility, carrier communication, and proactive issue resolution. What You'll Do

• Monitor and track shipments from pickup to delivery.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date load information, statuses, appointments, and documentation within the TMS.

• Communicate with carriers and drivers to verify location updates, ETAs, pickups, and deliveries.

• Identify and proactively manage delays, missed appointments, detention, reschedules, and other shipment exceptions.

• Escalate critical operational issues to the assigned Freight Broker when necessary.

• Coordinate communication between carriers, brokers, and internal teams.

• Ensure PODs and required shipment documentation are collected and properly maintained.

• Support priority and high-volume accounts with consistent shipment visibility and follow-up.

• Prepare operational reports, load summaries, and updates on open issues.

• Help maximize broker productivity by taking ownership of operational follow-up and shipment management activities.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, logistics operations, transportation, or load tracking.

• English level B2+ or higher (required).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple loads and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

• Strong sense of urgency and proactive problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

• Availability to work aligned with U.S. business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FTL and OTR operations.

• Experience working directly with carriers and drivers.

• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

• Experience supporting high-volume transportation accounts.

• Familiarity with detention, layover, TONU, lumper fees, PODs, appointments, and accessorial charges.
