Role Description The Business Executive is a part-time, hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities for sharia-based life insurance and financial protection solutions. Daily responsibilities include engaging prospective and existing customers, explaining product offerings aligned with sharia principles, and supporting clients in choosing appropriate coverage for their needs. The Business Executive will build and maintain strong relationships with partners and communities, contribute to sales and marketing activities, and provide feedback on market trends to support product and service improvements. The role also involves preparing basic reports on sales activities and participating in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial and insurance concepts clearly and ethically.
• Experience or interest in sales, business development, or financial services, preferably within insurance or sharia-compliant products.
• Basic analytical and reporting abilities, including tracking activities, monitoring performance, and identifying market opportunities.
• Understanding or willingness to learn about sharia principles in finance and insurance, and commitment to applying them in daily work.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively in a part-time schedule.
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
• Comfortable using digital tools (email, office applications, online meeting platforms) for communication, reporting, and remote work.
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English skills are an advantage.
