Business Analyst

At RUSH, we design, build, and manage purposeful digital experiences that better serve human kind. The purpose of this role is to provide hands-on Business Analyst and Account Management support to a select number of clients from pre-sales through to implementation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyses clients' existing systems and business models.
• Liaises extensively with external and/or internal clients.
• Maps and documents interfaces between legacy and new systems.
• Understands software development lifecycle.
• Translates client requirements into highly specified project briefs.
• Identifies options for potential solutions and assesses them for both technical and business suitability.
• Conducts requirements analysis and prepares specific proposals for modified or replacement systems.
• Develops solutions and related products.
• Produces project feasibility and costing report.
• Presents proposals to clients.
• Works closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Ensures that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met.
• Draws up, supervises and documents testing schedule for complete system.
• Oversees implementation of a new system including data migration.
• Plans and works flexibly to deadlines.
• Supports users on change control and system updates.
• Provides training and user manuals to users of a new system.
• Keeps up to date with technical and industry developments.
• Works collaboratively with other IT team members.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
