About the Role

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join a diverse, global technology team in Bangkok. You will act as the link between international clients, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver complex IT solutions for commercial applications.

The role combines business and data analysis, stakeholder management, and Agile backlog prioritization. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, ensuring products meet customer and stakeholder expectations, including the development of AI-powered capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment on product vision and business requirements.
• Analyze business processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency.
• Manage and prioritize product backlog items based on business value, complexity, and risk.
• Write clear, concise user stories and define acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases that accurately reflect business requirements.
• Investigate product challenges and develop practical, innovative solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products are developed and launched according to business requirements.
• Use AI productivity tools, such as Claude Code, Kiro, Microsoft Copilot, or equivalent, to support requirements gathering, user story drafting, acceptance criteria writing, and stakeholder communication.
• Translate business needs into requirements for AI/ML capabilities, including intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and LLM-powered features.
• Partner with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria covering AI feature quality, accuracy, data requirements, and responsible AI compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, Business Studies, or Management.
• 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a technology company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with backlog management and prioritization in Agile environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.
• Proficiency in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong presentation skills.
• Practical proficiency with AI productivity tools for requirements analysis, user story drafting, and stakeholder reporting.
• Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria for AI-powered features, including data requirements, model accuracy thresholds, and responsible AI considerations.
• Awareness of AI governance principles and how they translate into product requirements.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with machine learning would be a strong advantage.
