Stream is on a mission to bring financial wellbeing to all workers.

We partner with some of the world's most well-known employers, like Crate & Barrel, Driven Brands, General Electric, New Balance, Restaurant Brands International (RBI) and others, to give their teams access to fairer financial services. Over 3 million people track their shifts and earnings, start their first savings account, use budgeting tools, access financial education and choose when they want to get paid. All in one smartphone app.

Stream is unique: VC-backed and growing at scale-up pace, but with a social conscience. Some of the world's leading financial charities and impact funds were our founding investors.

You'd be joining a team of over 300 passionate, ambitious people across the UK, Europe and US, building a category-leading FinTech product with the mission to improve the lives of millions.

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a Business Analyst for a pivotal role in one of the fastest growing scale-ups in Europe, as we head for neobank status. As part of this role, you will be working with the leaders of our most important businesses to diagnose, understand and solve their most critical problems.

If you are motivated, highly analytical and love using data insights to drive real business strategy, this is a perfect opportunity to join a growing team early in the product lifetime.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with business leaders to identify their most important problems. Example: How can we improve front-line worker adoption in a specific sector?

  • Create bespoke analysis, dashboards and frameworks to help shape and define the solutions to these problems and shape the future business strategy.

  • Discover insights from data and formulate strategies to answer the big questions and address key business questions.

  • Work with data engineering to design and build data models for your domain.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement your strategies in the market effectively.

  • Build and implement RCTs to test and refine hypotheses. Example: In what order should customers be introduced to products?

  • Contribute to central Data initiatives (quality, lineage, forecasting, AI insights).

  • Monitor and assess the success of implemented strategies, and continuously identify further opportunities for enhancement.

What experience might you have? (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)

Must-haves

  • Ability to understand and work with numbers effectively.

  • Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel and SQL (Python is welcome).

  • Inquisitive and truth-seeking attitude, with an inclination to challenge the status quo.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.

  • Experience working with business leaders and translating ambiguous needs into structured data solutions.

Can-be-learnts

  • Applied AI – work alongside the Data team on conversation insight, forecasting, and other AI/ML initiatives that directly impact customer outcomes.

  • Domain knowledge – from B2B sales to product management to consumer marketing, you’ll gain exposure to the inner workings of Ops in a fast-scaling fintech.

  • Fintech industry expertise – learn how data underpins compliance, client reporting, and product adoption in a sector shaping the future of financial wellbeing.

What success looks like:

1 month: Taken ownership of key dashboards, building familiarity with our business and strategic priorities. Delivered improvements to existing analysis to demonstrate quick impact. Established yourself as the go-to data partner for leaders, helping triage and prioritise requests into a structured backlog.

3 months: Improved business performance and understanding with your recommendations and frameworks. Partnered with leadership to define and document key KPIs, turning ambiguous needs into standardised, trusted metrics.

6 months: Fully embedded as part of the team, shaping the roadmap for business improvements and surfacing insights that influence strategy. Extended our capabilities and your influence across the business.

What will we do for you?

  • 15 Days vacation in addition to federal holidays, as well as flexible time off allowances for any ad-hoc childcare/family/caring needs

  • 12 weeks paid Maternity Leave and 2 weeks paid Paternity Leave for employees with over 12 months service

  • Health, dental and vision benefits (a number of these benefits are paid in full for the employee)

  • We want to invest in you financially, so we have a 401K program

And of course, the best benefit of all, access to Stream!

At Stream we celebrate and support our differences. We know employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, our product and our community to flourish. Stream is an equal opportunity workplace. We are dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity/expression, or veteran status.
