Business Analyst Consultant – Talent Pool

Talent Pool Overview:

Business Analysts are among the most requested profiles by our clients: over the last months, we received dozens of Business and Functional Analyst requests, mainly from banking & insurance and public institutions. We are building a pool of experienced analysts we can propose quickly when a new mission opens. By joining, you will be among the first profiles we contact when a matching mission opens – as soon as a matching client request comes in.

Organised in five practices (Management Consulting, IT Analysis, IT Development, IT Security and IT Infrastructure), we place experienced IT professionals on missions with leading organisations in Belgium, mainly in banking & insurance, federal and regional public institutions, utilities and industry.

Typical Mission Contexts:

• Digital transformation and core system replacement programmes in banks and insurers
• Regulatory and compliance projects (reporting, GDPR, anti-money laundering)
• Process digitalisation and e-government projects in public institutions
• ERP / SAP-related business analysis
• API and integration projects between business applications

Typical Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements with business stakeholders
• Translate needs into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Model AS-IS and TO-BE processes (BPMN) and data (UML)
• Work in Agile squads (Scrum/SAFe) alongside Product Owners and developers
• Support testing, UAT and business change management

Must-Have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Business or Functional Analyst (Middle), 6+ years for Senior missions
• Strong requirement engineering and process modelling skills (BPMN, UML)
• Experience in Agile environments; Jira and Confluence
• Ability to act as a bridge between business and IT

Nice-to-Have:

• Banking, insurance or public sector experience
• SQL and data analysis skills; API / integration knowledge
• SAP or other ERP exposure
• Certifications such as IREB/CPRE, IIBA (CBAP/CCBA) or SAFe

Languages:

• Most of our clients operate in a bilingual environment: French and/or Dutch is required for the majority of missions, with a strong preference for bilingual FR/NL profiles
• Professional English is expected in most IT environments

Engagement Model:

Missions are typically medium to long term, full-time or part-time, on site or hybrid (usually 2–3 days on site). Depending on your preference, we work with you as a Keystone Solutions employee or as a freelance/subcontractor.

Location: Belgium – mainly Brussels, also Flanders and Wallonia depending on the mission. Hybrid work is common.
