Opportunity Type: Regular Summary: Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented analyst for the role of a Business Analyst – Financial Systems to support and optimize our Workday Financial Management platform. This role serves as the bridge between Finance & Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with Workday Financials including report writing, strong business analysis skills, and a solid understanding of finance and accounting processes, preferably within the not-for-profit industry. This position will be remotely based within the US. Key Responsibilities: Configure or support the configuration of Workday Financial Management modules, including: General Ledger Procurement & Payables Accounts Receivable Expense Management Banking & Settlement Asset Management Financial Reporting Payroll & Time Tracking Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday financial reports using following report options: Advanced Reports Matrix Reports Composite Reports Dashboards and Worksheets Levels of Support: Provide initial support for Finance end users, examples include handling inquiries troubleshooting and resolving issues. Partner with higher complex support teams on process design, security configuration, functional performance and complex business issues. Other Responsibilities: Partner with Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to understand current and new business needs and translate them into functional Workday solutions. Gather, document, and validate business requirements, create functional specifications, and user stories for existing or enhanced functionality. Analyze current financial processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process improvement using Workday. Support Workday bi-annual releases, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop test plans, execute test cases, document results, and coordinate issue resolution. Create and maintain business process documentation, training materials, and job aids. Work within the Financial Systems team on organizational finance initiatives and other duties as assigned. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting financial systems. At least 2 years of experience working as a functional user, or implementing and supporting Workday Financial Management, including report design and maintenance. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements. Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and defect management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication skills. and strong attention to details. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, Lucid, Workday Help or similar project management tools and tools for documenting process flows and business processes. Experience working in Agile project environments. Experience supporting global Finance organizations. Hiring Range: The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience.
