Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Core HCM Configuration Consultant with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM implementation and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in configuring Workday Core HCM, Business Processes, Organizations, Security, Reporting, and EIBs. The candidate will work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support Workday enhancements, production support, and continuous process improvements.

- Staffing (Hire, Change Job, Termination)
- Organizations (Supervisory, Company, Cost Center, Location)
- Job Profiles, Job Families, Positions
- Worker data and organizational assignments
- Configure and enhance Workday Business Processes (BPs), including:
- Hire
- Change Job
- Transfer
- Promotion
- Termination
- Onboarding
- Offboarding
- Business process approvals, notifications, validations, condition rules, and routing logic
- Configure and maintain:
- Staffing models (Position Management and Job Management)
- Effective dating and worker lifecycle transactions
- Organizational structures and hierarchies
- Develop, modify, and support Workday reports:
- Standard reports
- Custom Advanced reports
- Matrix reports
- Calculated fields
- Filters, prompts, and report optimization
- Configure and support Workday Security:
- Domain Security Policies
- Business Process Security Policies
- Security Groups
- Role-based access control
- User provisioning and access troubleshooting
- Support data migration and mass updates using:
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Inbound and outbound integrations for data loading
- Perform:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Defect analysis and resolution
- Provide production support within an AMS/support model by:
- Resolving incident tickets
- Performing root cause analysis
- Implementing configuration fixes
- Meeting SLA requirements
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and IT teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable Workday solutions.
- Prepare and maintain:
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Configuration Workbooks
- Test Scripts
- Release documentation
- Knowledge transfer documents
- Support Workday releases by evaluating new features, performing impact analysis, regression testing, and recommending adoption where appropriate.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years of Workday Core HCM implementation and/or production support experience.

- Organizational changes
- Experience in production support, incident management, and AMS support environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday HCM Certification is preferred.
- Experience working on at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
- Experience with Workday Release Management.
- Exposure to Workday integrations (Core Connectors, Studio, PICOF, or Workday Web Services) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with global HR processes and multinational organizations is preferred.
