For one of our clients, we are looking for a Product Owner/Business Analyst responsible for maximizing product value delivered by a cross-functional development team building a next-generation HR/ERP platform.

Acting as the main link between finance SMEs and the delivery team, you will translate complex accounting and operational workflows into a clear product roadmap and prioritized backlog, ensuring solutions align with customer needs, business objectives, and quality standards within an Agile environment.

Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge

· Minimum 2 years in a PO role, or 3–5 years in a similar BA/PO position in a Scrum environment

· Proven experience delivering complex IT/software products in the accounting/finance domain

· Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and the full product development lifecycle

· Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams

· Ability to balance business priorities, technical constraints, and user needs

· Experience collaborating with multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) — accountants, finance controllers, auditors

Skills

· Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience

· Experience in Payments (preparation, processing, validation and execution)

· Experience in Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences

· Proven ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders and drive decisions that unlock the next actionable piece of work

· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to clearly define and communicate product requirements and decisions

· Experience in creating high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation

· Strong prioritization and decision-making skills — comfortable cutting scope and making calls under uncertainty

· Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of transparency

Tools & Practices

· Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Miro

· AI proficiency

· Familiarity with UX principles

· Understanding of API-based systems and integrations relevant to ERP ecosystems

· Data-driven mindset

Nice to Have

· Domain experience with ERP or HR systems

· Understanding of core accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping, period-end close, multi-entity reporting)

· Familiarity with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) as a collaborative way of working - using structured examples and shared language to introduce and validate new domains or implementation phases before development begins

· Professional certification: CBAP, PSPO or equivalent

Main responsibilities:

· Work closely with SMEs to define and scope upcoming implementation phases

· Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, in collaboration with the technical team

· Communicate, follow and understand the client's product vision, strategy, and roadmap

· Collaborate with client, development teams, UX/UI, QA and Scrum Master/PM

· Accept or reject completed work based on acceptance criteria

· Support the testing process, ensuring delivered features meet defined acceptance criteria and business expectations

· Introduce new domains and phases using Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) as a structured, team-wide way of working

· Report on delivered work and communicate outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining visibility of progress against the roadmap

· Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and demos

· Manage dependencies and mitigate delivery risks

· Drive product improvements using data, feedback, and KPIs as expert and align with the client
