Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant (Dutch-speaking)

Location: Belgium (hybrid/remote, with occasional on-site visits)

Contract: Freelance, 6–12 months with potential extension

Start date: ASAP

Language: Fluent Dutch (essential)

Rate: Competitive day rate

The role: experienced Dutch-speaking Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant to support a client in Belgium with the implementation, configuration and optimisation of their financial processes. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, business users and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and support the functional implementation of Business Central Finance

• Configure and optimise General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets • Configure VAT, Belgian taxation, multi-currency and intercompany accounting

• Assist with chart of accounts design, financial dimensions and posting configurations

• Gather, analyse and document financial business requirements

• Support budgeting, cash management, bank reconciliation and financial reporting

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Support data migration, system testing, UAT and go-live activities

• Work alongside technical consultants and developers on integrations, extensions and customisations

• Identify process improvements using standard Business Central functionality

• Provide training and functional support to finance teams and end users
