Finance Business Partner Officer – Workforce & Corporate
Working in the Finance circle
As Corporate & Workforce Finance Business Partner Officer, you are a trusted finance partner for stakeholders across HR, Finance, Strategy and Legal. You translate financial and operational data into clear insights, compelling stories and concrete actions. You do not just report the numbers: you explain what is happening, why it matters and what should happen next. You are curious, ambitious and comfortable challenging assumptions when needed.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the business on OPEX and workforce cost management
- Drive forecasting, budgeting and monthly performance reviews within your scope
- Translate KPIs and cost drivers into clear stories, decisions and actions
- Challenge assumptions constructively and contribute to continuous improvement
The candidate reports to the Technology & Corporate Finance Business Partnering Director and works closely with fellow (Senior) Finance Business Partners.
Your main responsibilities as Finance Business Partner Officer
- Analyse financial and operational performance, explain key drivers and identify opportunities and risks
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, business cases and scenario analyses that support decision-making
- Connect KPIs and cost drivers to financial performance and business priorities
- Engage stakeholders with concise, audience-focused storytelling and clear recommendations
- Ask the right questions, challenge the status quo and follow through on agreed actions
- Monitor OPEX, workforce costs and the efficient use of resources within your scope
- Contribute to process standardization and support continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting, data quality, governance and ways of working
- Act as a reliable finance partner and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Our ideal candidate has…
- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in business controlling, FP&A, audit, consulting or another analytical finance role.
- Strong analytical skills and business curiosity, with the ability to connect financial performance to operational drivers.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- The confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively and influence through facts and insights.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complexity into a clear message and call to action.
- Ambition, learning agility and a growth mindset: you actively seek feedback and broader impact.
- A positive change mindset, hands-on attitude and resilience in a fast-moving environment.
- Professional proficiency in English; Dutch and French are considered assets.
