The heart of the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Deployment Expert - SAP S/4HANA to support the international rollout of global business processes, standards, and SAP solutions across the PHOENIX Group.

In this role, you will play a key part in translating global process designs into successful local implementations, ensuring that standardized processes and SAP solutions are effectively deployed across different countries and business units.

Working closely with Global Process Owners, Business Process Managers, SAP functional teams, and local stakeholders, you will support the full deployment lifecycle - from initial assessments and gap analysis through testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.

The role requires a combination of SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge, business process understanding, and hands-on deployment experience, together with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Your responsibilities:

• Execute and support the end-to-end deployment of global processes, standards and SAP S/4HANA solutions across countries and business units, with a particular focus on Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Act as a bridge between global process design and local business operations, ensuring that global solutions are effectively implemented while addressing local requirements and operational constraints.
• Conduct baseline assessments, review existing business processes and identify gaps between local practices and global standards.
• Work closely with Global Process Owners, Business Process Managers, SAP functional experts and local teams to clarify requirements, resolve deployment-related issues and ensure alignment with global templates.
• Plan, coordinate and support deployment activities, including local preparation, process validation, testing, training and business readiness.
• Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, test data coordination, defect tracking and issue resolution.
• Support data migration validation, cutover preparation and other activities required for successful deployment.
• Coordinate and facilitate knowledge transfer, end-user training and change management activities to support the adoption of new processes and systems.
• Support go-live execution and post-go-live stabilization (hypercare), ensuring that operational issues are addressed and processes are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.
• Identify deployment risks, dependencies and local implementation challenges, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Track deployment progress, maintain relevant documentation and provide status updates to support deployment governance and reporting.
• Capture lessons learned, identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to consistent deployment practices across countries and business units.

What makes you beat

• A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Approximately 5-7 years of relevant experience in business deployment, ERP/SAP implementation, business transformation or international rollout projects.
• Good functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly FI/CO and an understanding of related business processes.
• Practical experience supporting SAP implementation or deployment activities, ideally in a multi-country or global template environment.
• Experience with business process analysis, gap assessments and translating global requirements into local implementation activities.
• Familiarity with deployment lifecycle activities, including SIT, UAT, training, go-live and hypercare.
• Strong planning, coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities, stakeholders and dependencies.
• Ability to identify risks, resolve operational challenges and escalate issues when required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
