Role Description The Business Development Associate role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting Caprae’s growth across its investment and operating platforms. In this role, the associate conducts market research to identify attractive sectors, target companies, and potential partners in technology, finance, media, and health & wellness. The associate generates and qualifies leads through outreach, digital channels, and relationship-building, maintaining accurate records in CRM and pipeline tools. Day-to-day work includes preparing and delivering presentations and materials for internal stakeholders, investors, founders, and prospective portfolio companies. The associate collaborates with investment and operating teams to refine messaging, support deal sourcing initiatives, and contribute to special projects that expand Caprae’s ecosystem.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for interacting with founders, investors, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess robust presentation skills and experience creating and delivering presentations tailored to different audiences.
- Candidates should possess lead generation abilities, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management across digital and traditional channels.
- Candidates should possess market research skills, including data gathering, competitive analysis, and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
- Relevant experience in business development, sales, private equity, venture capital, or B2B SaaS environments is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working autonomously in a remote, fast-paced environment are preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, lead sourcing platforms, and basic financial or valuation concepts is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
