Come Join Our Fine Fettle Family!
About the Company:
Fine Fettle is a family owned, locally run multi-state cannabis company with operations across Connecticut, Georgia, and Massachusetts. As a leading cannabis retailer, our mission is to create comfort in cannabis while enabling customers and patients to realize cannabis’ full potential to improve their lives. We are dedicated to providing exemplary products and superior customer experiences. We believe that we can truly make a difference in the lives of our patients and customers by utilizing our expertise to educate them about the plant and provide them with the right products to enhance their health and wellbeing. We help customers incorporate cannabis into their lives in ways that optimally fit their individual needs. To support this mission, we are seeking driven, dedicated, and collaborative individuals who are passionate about contributing to our continued growth within the dynamic cannabis industry.
About the Role:
The Business Development Associate is responsible for expanding patient access to Fine Fettle by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, pharmacies, advocacy organizations, and community partners throughout Georgia.
Serving as the boots on the ground representation for Fine Fettle within the healthcare community, this position is responsible for educating referral sources on Georgia's Medical Cannabis Program, driving qualified patient referrals, and strengthening Fine Fettle's brand presence through consistent outreach, partnership development, and community engagement.
This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
This role emphasizes proactive, boots-on-the-ground fieldwork across three key channels: referring physicians, patient advocacy and community partners, and the independent pharmacy channel. Success depends on working from prioritized target lists within each channel, focusing time on the highest-volume and fastest-growing relationships, and turning early-stage contacts into consistent, higher-volume partners over time.
A successful Business Development Associate is highly motivated, relationship-oriented, and passionate about improving patient access to medical cannabis. They are comfortable networking, presenting to healthcare professionals, and proactively identifying new opportunities to grow Fine Fettle's presence across Georgia. Success in this role is measured not only by activity, but by the strength of long-term relationships developed and their measurable impact on patient growth.
Primary Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
This role encompasses the following key areas of responsibility, supporting the seamless execution and organization of Fine Fettle’s marketing and commercial initiatives across the business. Key responsibilities include:
Provider Development:
- Build, manage, and grow a network of physician and healthcare provider relationships across the state.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with physicians, office managers, nurses, and medical staff. Deliver Fine Fettle collateral and dedicated partner codes.

- Develop physician referral strategies tailored to each practice.
- Identify new provider offices and referral opportunities through prospecting and networking.
- Prioritize physician outreach based on referral volume and growth potential, focusing consistent attention on top-performing and fast-growing referral sources, while re-engaging partners whose referral activity has declined.
- Track leads via partner referral discount program to determine the efficacy of each partnership.
Community Partnerships:
- Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, senior organizations, veterans groups, and other community stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotions, educational partnerships, and community outreach.
- Represent Fine Fettle at health fairs, conferences, and community events hosted by these partners.
- Coordinate educational seminars and patient information sessions.
- Proactively manage the patient advocacy partner pipeline — growing active partners (patient organizations, veterans groups, oncology support groups, etc.) into larger referral sources, and converting identified prospects into active partners on a set outreach cadence rather than ad hoc contact.

Pharmacy Channel Support (Ancillary):
