Join the Redwire Space team in developing and fielding end-to-end innovative mission critical space system solutions for next generation space architecture. At Redwire, you will work closely with customers from concept development through mission operations to ensure mission success.

Join Redwire’s team in Poland where you will play a key role in driving growth across Europe by identifying and leading business development activities. We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven professional who can identify and shape opportunities, develop customer and partner relationships, and lead strong, compliant proposals. You will work with institutional and commercial customers, including ESA, EUSPA, Polish national funding bodies, European space companies, industrial primes and strategic partners.

Role Summary

This is a hands-on role combining business development, capture and bid management. You will work closely with engineering, program management, finance, contracts and colleagues across Europe and the United States. You will also support the transition of successful bids into project execution.
The position is based in Warsaw under a hybrid work model. It offers a real opportunity to influence how Redwire Poland develops its pipeline, partnerships and market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and develop institutional and commercial opportunities for Redwire Poland.
  • Build and maintain a realistic, prioritized pipeline with clear actions and regular follow-up.
  • Lead bids and proposals from opportunity qualification through review, approval and submission.
  • Analyze tender requirements and coordinate technical, commercial, schedule, legal and contractual inputs.
  • Write and edit clear, compelling proposal content, ensuring a consistent message across the submission.
  • Develop relationships with customers, primes, industrial partners and research organizations, and represent Redwire at relevant events.
  • Support the handover of successful bids into project execution, including scope, assumptions, commitments, risks, schedule and cost basis.

Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline; or 5+ years of experience in place of a degree.
  • Professional experience in bid management, proposal management, business development, technical sales or a related role.
  • Fundamental understanding of ESA and Polish national space programs, procurement processes and funding mechanisms.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to combine technical and commercial inputs into a clear proposal.
  • Excellent organization, ownership and attention to detail, including the ability to coordinate several contributors and deadlines.
  • Ability to understand technical products and customer requirements and translate them into practical bid actions.
  • Fluent Polish and English, both written and spoken.

Good-to-have

  • Experience in space, aerospace, defense, deep-tech or another regulated engineering sector.
  • Hands-on experience preparing proposals for ESA, EUSPA, European Commission or Polish national programs.
  • Experience developing partnerships or coordinating international consortia.
  • Project-management or bid-to-project handover experience.
