We focus on hiring, training, and developing local, underrepresented talent to deliver those projects efficiently, on time, and within budget. Our access to internal WFD resources, training programs, and small business partnerships is a key differentiator in the market.
Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing client relationships across the energy, utility, infrastructure, and workforce development markets. Candidates must have proven staffing industry sales experience, energy sector expertise, and a track record of successfully breaking into new accounts while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Required Experience
- 4+ years of business development or sales experience within the staffing industry.
- 4+ years selling into the energy, utility, infrastructure, engineering, or construction sectors.
- 3+ years of IT staffing sales experience.
- Proven success opening new accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Demonstrated ability to grow and retain existing client relationships.
Industry Knowledge
- Utilities and energy companies
- Engineering, construction, and infrastructure organizations
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy programs
- Contractors, trade allies, and program implementers
Preferred Experience
- Workforce Development (WFD) programs and services
- Workforce technology, HR technology, workforce management software, or talent platforms
- Selling solutions that combine staffing, consulting, and technology services
- Building relationships within the energy, utility, infrastructure, or construction sectors
Experience selling workforce development software and workforce tools is a significant plus.
