Business Development Lead

J&L Apex Advisory is partnering with a fast-growing global online trading platform (FX / CFDs, multi-asset) to hire a Business Development Lead for Japan, one of the company's priority growth markets.

THE ROLE

You will lead business development for the Japan market: building partner and client relationships, growing trading volume and net deposits, and building and coaching a BD team. You will work closely with the Japan marketing lead and the regional leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the Japan BD plan and deliver monthly trading volume and net deposit targets

• Develop and manage introducing brokers (IBs), partners, KOLs and trading communities

• Build, lead and coach a BD team, setting targets and tracking performance

• Work with marketing on events, campaigns and partner promotions

• Share market and competitor insights with regional and global teams

• Report regularly on pipeline, partner performance and results

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of business development or sales experience at a brokerage, FX / CFD platform, digital asset exchange or fintech

• A proven, measurable track record in growing trading volume and net deposits

• An established network of partners, IBs or active traders in Japan

• Experience leading or coaching a BD or sales team

• Native or business-level Japanese; English or Mandarin as a second language for both internal and external communication.

• Based in Japan, and comfortable working remotely in a cross-border team
