Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Contract Manufacturing division. This role focuses on attracting new customers, supporting existing accounts, and driving profitable sales growth across our facilities in North America and Mexico. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational, strategic sales, and negotiation skills, capable of managing long sales cycles while delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
• Grow profitability by managing an assigned book of business and developing new customer relationships
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new contract manufacturing opportunities aligned with strategic goals
• Maintain strong customer relationships with key contacts and sourcing influencers
• Review and approve price changes for existing parts and programs while ensuring profitability targets
• Conduct Business Review meetings with key accounts; monitor Customer Scorecards
• Provide timely and accurate input for sales forecasting
• Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered
• 3+ years of sales experience in Injection Molding, Blow Molding, and/or contract manufacturing preferred
• Experience managing large key/strategic accounts strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; ERP experience (Delmia/IQMS) a plus
• Understanding of ISO Quality Systems standards preferred
• Knowledge of Injection and Blow Molding processes preferred
• Ability to manage and close long sales cycles (12+ months)
• Willingness to travel 50%+ including overnight stays
