Wood is recruiting a Business Development Manager to lead the growth and development of our energy end market across the East Coast of Australia, PNG and New Zealand. This is a permanent role within the regional business development team and will be based in the Brisbane or Melbourne office. #LI-Hybrid The Role Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development - Oceania, you will drive an aligned and structured approach to business development with responsibility to grow and convert Wood’s pipeline of opportunities across our 3 strategic Business Units (BU) – Consulting, Projects & Operations. A key focus of the role is identifying new prospects, managing client engagements and key project pursuits, to secure new work within the energy end market (oil and gas, carbon capture and new energy and renewables). You will lead collaborate ways of working within the sales team and across the technical and commercial functions to help position and win work across the project and asset lifecycle. This is a highly visible role and includes travel for engagement with clients, suppliers, and industry bodies and events across Oceania East.
