Context
Gladys Synergies is supporting a leading player in payments and financial services in the recruitment of a Business Development Manager – International Remittances.
As part of the development of its international money transfer activities, our client is looking to strengthen its financial services offering and expand its network of international remittance corridors.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role with significant ownership: you will be responsible for developing commercial opportunities, building strategic partnerships and contributing to the growth of the international remittance business in the DRC and across international markets.

Missions & Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize opportunities to develop new international remittance corridors based on market demand and commercial potential.
Develop and negotiate partnerships with banks, Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), microfinance institutions and other financial services players.
Build and manage a portfolio of strategic partners, ensuring strong and sustainable business relationships.
Lead commercial discussions covering fees, pricing and FX terms while ensuring alignment with the company's commercial framework.
Coordinate the onboarding of new partners and their operational and technical integration with the relevant internal teams.
Monitor corridor and partner performance, including transaction volumes, service quality, speed, pricing and profitability.
Represent the business with partners, industry stakeholders and relevant regulatory authorities, while supporting compliance with AML/KYC requirements.
Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in money transfer, payments, fintech or a comparable financial services environment, ideally in the DRC.
Proven experience in business development and negotiating partnerships with financial institutions and other strategic players.
Strong understanding of money transfer, mobile money, digital payments and/or FX ecosystems.
Experience working in a regulated environment, with a good understanding of AML/KYC requirements.
Strong negotiation, relationship management and analytical skills, combined with an entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
Fluent French and professional English required, with willingness to travel within the DRC and internationally.
