Business Development Officer

Overview A leading nationwide SBA lender is expanding its team and seeking multiple Business Development Officers (BDOs) with a proven track record in originating SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. This is a high-performance environment designed for experienced SBA producers who consistently close over $20MM+ in annual volume and have strong referral networks. Responsibilities Originate SBA 7(a) and 504 loans for small businesses across the U.S. Develop and manage relationships with business owners, brokers, and referral partners. Utilize a proactive, hunter-style approach to generate qualified leads and expand market reach. Review loan requests, structure terms, and coordinate with underwriting and credit teams. Present loan packages to the credit committee and oversee the funding process. Achieve and exceed annual production goals. Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and other loan origination systems. Qualifications Minimum 4-5 years of experience originating SBA 7(a) and 504 loans . Proven annual production of $20MM+ in SBA loans (must provide production report). Demonstrated ability to build and leverage a referral network. Strong understanding of SBA program requirements, credit analysis, and loan structuring. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
