We are a global digital agency comprised of strategists, creatives, media experts, data scientists, and engineers driven by one common purpose — accelerate business growth through marketing and digital transformation. Named a top 3% Google Premier Partner and recognized by Inc. 5000 and Adweek’s 75 Fastest Growing Companies, we’re constantly looking for “A” players to join our team. The rapid growth is attributed to our strongest asset — our people. Our teams are highly collaborative and work closely with each client to set clear goals and objectives so that we can deliver exceptional results. Mindgruve is a place where every opinion is valued. Not only will you be empowered to contribute ideas, but you will also play a key role in the execution and driving success for brands across a variety of industries. Sound fun? Perfect — you’ll fit right in. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will generate new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying leads for Mindgruve’s sales team. The BDR will focus on the early stages of the sales cycle, identifying potential customers through outreach like cold calls, emails, and social media, and setting up meetings for senior business development team members and executives to close deals. This role is crucial in building a healthy sales pipeline and driving revenue growth for the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting the sales team in achieving their goals. What You'll Do Here: Prospecting: Researching and identifying potential clients and new business opportunities. Outreach: Contacting prospects through cold calls, emails, social media and other methods. Lead Qualification: Engaging with potential customers to determine if they are a good fit for Mindgruve's products and/or services. Meeting Setting: Scheduling and arranging meetings for senior business development team members and company executives to move the qualified leads further down the sales funnel. Discovery and Research: Conduct research to identify potential clients and understand their business needs. Gather and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client insights to support sales strategies. Collaboration : Work with the sales team members and Mindgruve department leads to develop compelling and tailored proposals that address client needs and showcase our services. Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing presentations, sales collateral, and other materials needed for client meetings and pitches. Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Coordinate and schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups with potential clients. Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update sales documentation, including client contacts, proposal status, and meeting notes. Provide general administrative support to the sales team as needed. We Need a Person With: Bachelor’s degree. 1 ½ - 2 years of experience in sales support, marketing, or a related role, preferably within a performance marketing, retail media agency or commerce focused agency. Strong understanding of performance marketing and retail media concepts and strategies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Apple, Google, Microsoft software applications. HubSpot proficiency or similar CRM. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and analytics. Available to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) from our San Diego office. Compensation: Non-Exempt: $25 - $35 per hour (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate. The compensation range reflects base rate only.) Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. We have six office locations in the US: San Diego, California, Los Angeles, California, Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work. (Bonus points if you’re bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese.) Mindgruve is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
