Infor is looking to hire a Senior Business Development Representative to drive new business pipeline creation through highly strategic outbound prospecting across the Mexico market. This role plays a critical part in expanding Infor's market presence by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers for complex business technology solutions.

As a senior member of the business development organization, you will take a leadership role in developing strategic prospecting initiatives, identifying high-potential opportunities, and influencing pipeline generation activities. You will collaborate closely with sales leadership, account executives, marketing teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate revenue growth and support Infor's broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong research and account-planning capabilities, commercial acumen, and the confidence to engage senior decision-makers, including directors, vice presidents, and C-level executives. Success in this role requires a proactive, results-oriented mindset, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to generate demand through disciplined outbound execution while serving as a trusted partner to both prospects and internal stakeholders.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

  • Drive outbound prospecting activities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, networking, and account-based research to generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Identify, research, and prioritize target accounts and key stakeholders to build and maintain a consistent pipeline of sales-ready opportunities.
  • Develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies in partnership with Sales and Marketing teams, focusing on high-value prospects within priority industries and market segments.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitive research to better understand customer challenges, industry trends, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Initiate meaningful conversations with prospective customers to uncover business needs and position Infor's value proposition effectively.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding organizational priorities, buying processes, key decision-makers, and alignment with Infor's solutions.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition of qualified opportunities to Account Executives while ensuring relevant business insights are captured and communicated.
  • Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline information within CRM and sales engagement platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in business development, lead generation, or prospecting-focused roles within SaaS, enterprise software, or business technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated success generating pipeline through cold outreach, including phone, email, social selling, and multi-channel prospecting techniques.
  • Experience prospecting for enterprise software, ERP, supply chain, PLM, cloud, or other complex technology solutions.
  • Experience analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer challenges to support business development efforts.
  • Full professional-level English communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience utilizing CRM and sales technology platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Salesloft, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, attending the office three days per week.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in Mexico for any employer without requiring visa sponsorship, visa transfer, or immigration support now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience prospecting for ERP, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management (HCM), PLM, Cloud, or other enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience working for software vendors, implementation partners, consulting organizations, or companies selling business technology solutions.
  • Experience developing opportunities and building pipelines within the Mexico market.
  • Demonstrated success engaging senior decision-makers, including directors, vice presidents, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with sales leadership to develop and execute business development best practices and strategic prospecting initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commercial drive, resilience, accountability, and a highly proactive approach to business development.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, quota-driven, high-growth sales environments.
