We're looking for a curious, data-driven, detail-oriented student to join FreshCut Paper as a Business Insights & Analytics Co-op / Intern. This role sits at the intersection of finance, supply chain, and marketing. You'll turn sales data, channel performance, and market signals into clear insights, accurate forecasts, and recommendations the team can act on.

You'll help build and maintain forecasting models and reporting across our ecommerce, Amazon, and wholesale/retail channels. That work helps the business anticipate demand, avoid stockouts, and plan inventory with confidence. Amazon is a major focus of this role: you'll support recurring analysis of product performance, inventory health, and advertising efficiency on the channel. You'll also assist with the rollout of our new inventory management platform and help marketing connect advertising spend to revenue outcomes.

Forecasting & Growth Analytics

• Assist in building and maintaining revenue and unit forecasts across web, Amazon, and wholesale/retail using historical sales, market trends, and other inputs

• Help adjust forecasts for seasonality, promotions, product launches, and demand shifts, and track accuracy against actuals

• Support marketing in connecting advertising spend and campaign performance to revenue growth across channels

• Assist with market sizing for new markets, categories, and products, and help identify cross-channel trends and opportunities

Amazon Channel Analytics

• Assist in analyzing product (ASIN) performance on Amazon, including sales, sessions, conversion rate, Buy Box share, rankings, and reviews, to help identify winners, underperformers, and opportunities

• Help monitor Amazon inventory levels (FBA and inbound), weeks of cover, restock limits, and stranded or aged inventory, and flag stockout or overstock risks early

• Support Amazon replenishment and shipment planning based on sales velocity and upcoming promotions or seasonal peaks

• Assist marketing in analyzing Amazon advertising performance (ACoS, TACoS, ROAS) and its impact on organic sales

• Help build and maintain recurring Amazon performance reports using Seller Central, Brand Analytics, and related tools

Inventory Analytics & New Platform Implementation

• Help monitor real-time sales and inventory positions across channels and flag risks early to avoid stockouts

• Assist in translating demand forecasts into inventory planning and reorder recommendations

• Support the rollout of our new inventory management platform, including cleaning and migrating SKU and item data, validating data against NetSuite and channel sources, and testing integrations

• Help document new processes and support teammates as they get up to speed on the platform

• Assist in automating the flow of forecasting and inventory data to reduce manual reporting work

• Help build reports and dashboards that keep the company informed on inventory health and key metrics

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree (MBA, MS in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field)

• Professional work experience preferred, ideally in analytics, demand planning, forecasting, FP&A, or supply chain; prior internship or co-op experience in these areas is a plus

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, building models) and comfort working with large datasets

• Experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus

• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, multi-channel ecommerce, or NetSuite and similar ERP/inventory tools is a plus

• Interest in inventory and supply chain planning concepts

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn new systems

• Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, and marketing teams

• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Hands-on experience with real forecasting, Amazon, and inventory analytics at a fast-growing, design-driven consumer brand

• A front-row seat to implementing a new inventory platform from the ground up

• High visibility into cross-functional decision-making across finance, supply chain, and marketing

• Mentorship and a collaborative, creative team culture

• Flexible, paid, hybrid work environment
